COMMITMENT

Participating in Alpe d'HuZes is great! But it comes with some commitments. Before you sign up, we ask you to agree to the following promises:

  1. 1. I'm in because I want to support cancer research and improve the quality of life for people with cancer.

This means that your primary goal as a participant is to raise an amount of €2,500 or more for cancer research. We are here to assist you, so please consult the Alpe d'HuZes donation wiki for helpful tips.

  2. 2. My main goal as a participant is to raise funds for cancer research, with a target of €2,500 or more.

This means that your primary goal as a participant is to raise an amount of €2,500 or more for cancer research. We are here to assist you, so please consult the Alpe d'HuZes donation wiki for helpful tips.

  3. 3. I'll transfer all donations and financial benefits from Alpe d'HuZes actions to my fundraising page.

Every donation, whether in cash or electronically received for Alpe d'HuZes, should be directed to your personal fundraising page. Transparency to your donors is crucial. Additionally, any benefits (discounts or goods) received from Alpe d'HuZes-related actions with a monetary value should also be documented on your fundraising page.

  4. 4. I won't pass my starting ticket to someone else.

Your starting ticket serves as proof of your participation in Alpe d'HuZes and is linked to your contact information in our system. In case of an accident, it allows us to inform your loved ones promptly. Allowing someone else to use your starting ticket could lead to confusion and unsafe situations, which we must avoid at all times.

  5. 5. On the race day I wear the Alpe d'HuZes gear that I ordered and received.

Alpe d'HuZes relies on sponsors to organize the event, and these sponsors receive exposure through the event's cycling, running and walking apparel. By wearing the provided clothing on race day, you help us fulfil our commitment to our sponsors. This is why wearing the event’s apparel on race day is mandatory. You will receive a set (shirt and shorts) of apparel, and each participant will receive a link to their personal webshop from our clothing supplier, which can also be found on your fundraising page.
