Our fight against cancer
My name is Margaret Jansen, and I am 78 years old, the oldest sibling of the Weinans family. This year, I am joining my family to participate in the Alpe d’HuZes, a 14-kilometer hike with a 1,100-meter elevation gain up the iconic mountain featured in the Tour de France. We are doing this to raise funds for cancer research, a cause very close to my heart.
Cancer has deeply affected our family. I have lost a brother, a brother-in-law, and two sisters-in-law to this devastating disease. Today, two of my brothers are battling cancer, showing incredible strength and resilience.
Our team consists of 14 family members, and each of us is working hard to raise €2,500 for this important cause. Your support would mean so much to me and my family. Together, we can make a difference in the fight against cancer.
