Why I participate in Alpe d'HuZes?
I participate in Alpe d'HuZes because I believe in a world where no one has to face the devastating reality of losing a loved one to cancer.
Losing my father to this disease and witnessing dear friends suffer from it has shown me that this must change. We cannot accept cancer as an inevitability—it can and must be different. Together, we have the power to make a difference. Every act of support, no matter how big or small, brings us one step closer to a future without cancer.
Only in the Netherlands, more than 120,000 people are diagnosed with cancer every year? That means approximately 1 in 3 people will face this battle in their lifetime.
This has to stop. Let’s stand together, fight together, and work towards a world where cancer no longer takes those we love. 💪🎗
